![]() ![]() IPod Software Update 2.0.1 for the 120GB iPod classic is available via the update feature in iTunes. The update only works with the 120GB classic (the latest version). The previous 80GB and 160GB models will not recognize the new software, which adds support for Apple’s upcoming In-Ear Headphones and Earphones with Remote and Mic. The update also fixes a bug with saving Genius playlists. Other minor bug fixes are also included in the release, according to Apple. Support for the company’s new earphones has also been added to the iPod nano fourth-generation. The first new stereo headset, introduced by Steve Jobs at the September 9 event, was a model that shipped with “this little thing,” which sat on the cable, according to Apple's CEO. ![]() The “thing” sports volume controls, and a mic that can be used with the new recording application in the new 4G nano. ![]() The controls also let you play, pause, or skip to the next or previous song through multiple clicks. ![]()
